Protective balm every 2 to 3 hours
The salon balm, applied to the zone every 2 to 3 hours. For the first 3 to 5 days the balm determines outside protection and pigment retention speed.
Sweat and sun, 7 to 10 days off
Gym, sauna, beach, intense sun, avoid for 7 to 10 days. Sweat and UV erode the fixation early.

PMU naturally fades every 1 to 2 years. Annual refresh means always photo-ready. Skipping it leads to a longer, more expensive correction later.

Touch-up vs annual refresh vs correction of someone else's work, which is which?
The 6 to 8 week touch-up after your first PMU session is mandatory and (in most studios) included in the original price, it completes the pigment retention cycle. Annual refresh is the every-12-months top-up to keep color vivid as PMU naturally fades. Correction of other-salon or old PMU is a separate scenario, you book it when existing work has faded oddly, shape is wrong, or color shifted. We do all three. Can you correct PMU from another salon?
Yes. Send us photos via WhatsApp first, we evaluate before agreeing. Color neutralization, shape correction, color overlay are all possible. Wait at least 6 months after the last session before correction so the existing pigment has fully healed. Some cases need 2 to 3 sessions to fully correct.
Very dark or wrong-shape PMU, can correction help?
Yes, but transparency matters. Color neutralization is gradual: very dark pigment may need 1 to 3 sessions and sometimes laser treatment first. We agree on the exact plan at consultation based on your photos. We never promise unrealistic single-session miracles for stubborn old PMU.
Laser removal vs correction, which is better?
Depends on age, density, and color of the existing pigment. Light, old PMU: correction usually suffices. Very dark or deep pigment: laser plus correction in combination. We refer to dermatology for laser when needed and continue the correction work afterward. The decision is individualized at consultation.
How many sessions for old PMU correction?
It depends. Light fade: 1 session. Color shift: 2 to 3 sessions. Deep dark pigment: 3 to 5 sessions in combination with laser. We assess from photos at consultation and give you a realistic plan with total cost upfront, no surprises.
