Is the keratin formula formaldehyde-free?
Yes. We use only formaldehyde-free, certified keratin systems. The salon is well-ventilated, but if you are pregnant or nursing, we recommend waiting and consulting your physician before any chemical treatment, including formaldehyde-free formulas.
How long does the keratin treatment last?
3 to 5 months on average. Long, thick hair often lasts the full 5 months; fine or recently lightened hair tends toward 3 to 4 months. Sulfate-free shampoo, avoiding chlorine and saltwater, and limiting heat tools all extend the result.
Can I do keratin if my hair is colored, highlighted, or balayaged?
Yes, but the order matters. Color first, then keratin 1 to 2 weeks later. Keratin can shift fresh balayage warmth slightly, so we may recommend a toning session before the treatment. We assess everything during the consultation and recommend the right sequence.
What does the 48 to 72 hour aftercare actually mean?
Concretely: do not wash your hair, do not tie it up, do not use clips, do not tuck it behind your ears, do not let glasses leave a mark, avoid heavy sweating, and stay away from sea or pool water. The formula needs that window to fully bond with the hair structure. After 72 hours, you can resume normal washing with a sulfate-free shampoo.
Will the colorist speak English?

Will my wavy or curly hair become completely straight?
